Data Science (AI/ML) Internship

 

Overview

This position is a full time hybrid summer internship based out of the Company’s offices in Midtown Atlanta.  

 

MedTrans Go’s platform acts as a two-sided digital marketplace that matches healthcare facilities/systems (“customers”) with businesses and individuals providing services like medical transportation and interpretation  (“service partners”).

MedTrans Go is an early-stage startup with room for growth! Compensation packages for this internship include a salary of $17-20/hour, commensurate with experience, and other benefits.​​​

Qualifications 

​

The right candidate for this role will be someone who is proactive, organized, agile, empathetic, and effective at communication.

• Superb interpersonal and collaboration skills

• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills

• Knowledge of AI trends and emerging AI/ML tools 

• Understanding of how to arrange data to be utilized by AI/ML

• Ability to take a business oriented approach to integrating AI/ML  into MTG

• Self-starter excited to research, learn, and explore

• Ability to be effective in fast-paced and dynamic environments

Potential Projects 

​

• Research and evaluate AI/ML tools based on their applicability to MTG's needs

• Develop demos / proofs of concept for proposed AI/ML use cases

• Implement AI/ML models to assess and rank MTG partners

• Leverage geolocation data to generate novel concepts and insights

• Identify and integrate existing healthcare datasets with MTG data to produce innovative or predictive insights, such as analyzing CMS data on surgery patients and transportation

• Analyze customer data to fine-tune MTG's ideal customer profile
